Painless and so easy when you take advantage of the free assistance our Main Library provides. Trained volunteers from AARP are there every Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting on February 4th through April 15th. All you need to do is call 954-357-7439 and make an appointment.

- Need to research or apply for a grant? Call 954-357-7876 to register for our special program Grants: Myths and Realities to be offered in February at the Bienes Museum Conference Room, 6th floor from 1:30 – 4 pm.
- Need print or electronic State of Florida or Federal Government documents? Come to the BLG! In addition to the LoisLaw Database (a special database, available only in the BLG Section of the Broward County Libraries, for finding statutory, regulatory, and case law at the federal level and for all 50 states), the BLG also has a Comprehensive collection of statutory, regulatory, and case law at the Federal, State of Florida, and local levels.
If that weren't enough, our trained librarians help “strengthen the social safety net” by providing assistance in finding government information on Food Stamps, housing, immigration, Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, and unemployment benefits.

The Main Library also has free English classes for those ambitious individuals that possess an undiminished passion for success. Come every Tuesday to the Crossroads Café from 6 to 7.30 p.m.
If you already speak English and all you need is to polish your conversation skills, come on Wednesdays to the English Café from 6 to 7.30 p.m.
And, if what you want to do is learn Spanish? Don't go far, don't pay a cent! Come to the Main Library to El Club and learn to speak Spanish like a native!
