With your help we can make a difference!
Friends are needed to actively advocate for the library by communicating the need to the proper authorities and letting them know how much our public library resources and services are valued. Friends represent the interests of library users to the legislators who make funding decisions. They actively participate by visiting their legislators, writing, emailing or speaking at public meetings. They also provide a public voice within the community, encouraging its members to take full advantage of the many resources, services and programs being provided. We can make a difference. If you are interested in helping us advocate for libraries, Email Us and we will contact you and let you know how you can make a difference. |
