The Friends of the Fort Lauderdale Libraries is a volunteer organization for all ages. We provide important support to Main and the Fort Lauderdale Branch libraries through advocacy, fund raising and sponsorship of special programs.

What do the Friends do?
The Friends of the Fort Lauderdale Libraries engages in Advocacy, supports the libraries’ cultural and educational programs, staffs the Book Fair, encourages Donations, publishes a Newsletter, sponsors Special Events and much more!

What are the benefits of being a Friend?
Members receive admission to the Book Fair workroom, a discount at ArtServe at Main, a newsletter with information about Friends, library issues and events, and most importantly, the satisfaction of knowing that they are supporting a vital community resource.
