The Friends of the Fort Lauderdale Libraries is a volunteer organization for all ages. We provide important support to Main and the Fort Lauderdale Branch libraries through advocacy, fund raising and sponsorship of special programs.

The Friends of the Fort Lauderdale Libraries engages in Advocacy, supports the libraries’ cultural and educational programs, staffs the Book Fair, encourages Donations, publishes a Newsletter, sponsors Special Events and much more!

What are the benefits of being a Friend?
Members receive admission to the Book Fair workroom, a newsletter with information about Friends, library issues and events, and most importantly, the satisfaction of knowing that they are supporting a vital community resource.
